What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, maintain your session, and understand how people use the site.

This policy explains what cookies UpfrontOps uses, why we use them, how to manage your preferences, and which third parties may set cookies through our site.

For broader privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.

Why We Use Cookies

Essential: Without session and security cookies, you can’t log in, purchase credits, or run agents. The cart and balance cookies prevent you from losing state during checkout.

Analytics: We use aggregated analytics to improve the marketplace — identifying slow pages, measuring agent category interest, and finding UX problems. This data is never tied to individual identities for purposes outside our own product improvement.

Functional: Preferences and recent-agent cookies reduce friction so you don’t re-configure the site on each visit.

Marketing: Campaign attribution cookies help us understand which channels bring visitors to the marketplace. We don’t sell this data or share it for third-party marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for details).

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by services we integrate with, not by UpfrontOps directly. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they use the data collected.

Google Analytics

Provides aggregate site usage statistics. Google may process this data per their own privacy policy.

Stripe

Our payment processor sets cookies for fraud prevention during credit purchases. Stripe does not use this data for advertising.

HubSpot

Our CRM and marketing automation platform sets cookies for form tracking and marketing analytics.

Meta/Facebook and Google Ads

If you consent to marketing cookies, Meta and Google may set cookies for advertising attribution and conversion tracking. These companies operate their own advertising networks.

Use our on-site cookie preference center to control which optional cookies (analytics, functional, marketing) are active. You can change your preferences at any time.

Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. These cover preferences (1 year), analytics (up to 2 years), and marketing attribution (up to 13 months).

Regional Considerations

European Union (GDPR)

We obtain explicit consent before setting non-essential cookies for EU visitors. You can withdraw consent at any time through our preference center. Essential cookies are set under the legitimate interest basis (site functionality).

California (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information collected through cookies. California residents can manage cookie preferences through our preference center regardless.

Other Regions

We apply the same preference controls to all visitors. Use the preference center or browser settings to manage cookies from any location.

Updates to This Policy

We update this policy when we add new cookies, change providers, or when legal requirements change. Check the “Last Updated” date for the most recent version. Material changes are communicated through the cookie consent banner.
