What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, maintain your session, and understand how people use the site.
This policy explains what cookies UpfrontOps uses, why we use them, how to manage your preferences, and which third parties may set cookies through our site.
For broader privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Required for core site functionality. Cannot be disabled.
These cookies enable login sessions, security protections, credit purchases, and agent marketplace operations. Without them, the site won’t work.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session_id | Maintains your logged-in session | Session |
| csrf_token | Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks | Session |
| cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preferences | 1 year |
| cart_state | Preserves agent cart contents during checkout | Session |
| cc_balance | Caches current credit balance for display | Session |
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the site. Can be disabled.
We use analytics to identify which agent pages are popular, where visitors drop off, and how to improve the marketplace experience. Analytics data is aggregated — we don’t track individual behavior across other sites.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years |
| ga* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors within 24h | 24 hours |
What we learn: Page visits, session duration, traffic sources, device types, and navigation patterns.
What we don’t do: Track you across other websites, sell analytics data, or use it for advertising.
Functional Cookies
Enable enhanced features and personalization. Can be disabled.
Disabling these means preferences won’t persist between visits and some features may require extra steps.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| preferences | Remembers display preferences (e.g., category view) | 1 year |
| recent_agents | Shows recently viewed agents | 30 days |
| chat_session | Maintains live chat continuity | Session |
Marketing Cookies
Track marketing campaign effectiveness. Can be disabled.
These cookies help us measure whether our marketing reaches the right audience. They may also enable personalized advertising through third-party networks. We recommend leaving these off unless you want personalized ads.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta/Facebook | Advertising attribution | 90 days |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Conversion tracking | 90 days |
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Visitor tracking for marketing automation | 13 months |
Note: Marketing cookies are only set with your consent.
Why We Use Cookies
Essential: Without session and security cookies, you can’t log in, purchase credits, or run agents. The cart and balance cookies prevent you from losing state during checkout.
Analytics: We use aggregated analytics to improve the marketplace — identifying slow pages, measuring agent category interest, and finding UX problems. This data is never tied to individual identities for purposes outside our own product improvement.
Functional: Preferences and recent-agent cookies reduce friction so you don’t re-configure the site on each visit.
Marketing: Campaign attribution cookies help us understand which channels bring visitors to the marketplace. We don’t sell this data or share it for third-party marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for details).
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by services we integrate with, not by UpfrontOps directly. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they use the data collected.

Provides aggregate site usage statistics. Google may process this data per their own privacy policy.

Impact of Disabling Cookies
| Category | If Disabled |
|---|---|
| Essential | Cannot be disabled — required for login, security, and checkout |
| Analytics | No impact on your experience; we lose aggregate usage data |
| Functional | Preferences reset each visit; recently viewed agents not saved |
| Marketing | You may still see ads, but they won’t be personalized to you |
Cookie Duration
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. These handle login state, security tokens, and temporary cart/balance data.
Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. These cover preferences (1 year), analytics (up to 2 years), and marketing attribution (up to 13 months).
Regional Considerations
European Union (GDPR)
We obtain explicit consent before setting non-essential cookies for EU visitors. You can withdraw consent at any time through our preference center. Essential cookies are set under the legitimate interest basis (site functionality).
California (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information collected through cookies. California residents can manage cookie preferences through our preference center regardless.
Other Regions
We apply the same preference controls to all visitors. Use the preference center or browser settings to manage cookies from any location.
Updates to This Policy
We update this policy when we add new cookies, change providers, or when legal requirements change. Check the “Last Updated” date for the most recent version. Material changes are communicated through the cookie consent banner.
